National attention to the topic of prepping can be a good thing. And honestly I think that while some media outlets portray preppers as “extremist” or even “fringe citizens”… the attention is still cause for others to pay attention and think about their own preparedness. As this is a movement that is positive in nature is is about self-reliance.
And if anything, preppers are people who are preparing to be less of a burden on whatever emergency services are available during a disaster, leaving more for those who really need it.
As you can see, we’ve changed our site, a lot. When we first started Ecolante, about two years ago, we had a different vision than the one that God has lead us to. We were aiming to build a company around the green movement. While the green movement is still very much in effect and important, God has lead us toward a slightly different path. With that said, we are considering moving some of our old content over to the new site, but we will mostly focus on publishing new content.
You will now find that we are merging the Ecolante.com (green) and Ecolante.net (tech) sites content into one site. We’re doing this to provide you with more content in one location. We often found that the content of the two sites actually targeted the same audience, so we will now offer all that yummy goodness in one place. The ability to add comments and build community is another exciting addition to the Ecolante web presence.
So please enjoy, comment and keep the information flowing.
